One of our missions at the Canadian Rivers Institute (CRI) is to facilitate the exchange of aquatic and fisheries data between government, conservation and environmental organizations, industry, and academia, by compiling data from many sources into a standardized format within a GIS-based repository. Its goal is to assist resource managers, policy makers and public interests in making the best possible management decisions through enhanced knowledge and understanding of our natural environment.
We are currently building a new CRI online portal. You can watch it grow at https://canadarivers-gis.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html.
