CRI is developing specialists in river and estuarine science in Canada and around the world

December 14, 2016

To meet the growing demand for water professionals around the world, CRI researchers have graduated more than 450 students. Students and researchers have come from every province and territory of Canada and 20% of our student alumni come from countries as diverse as Bhutan, Chile, China, Finland, Italy, New Zealand, Romania, Senegal, and the USA. CRI alumni are working in every sector, particularly the private sector, academia, and all levels of government.  Many have taken up prominent roles including a Royal Appointment as Deputy Chamberlain by the King of Bhutan, a project manager for the Wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Franklin at Parks Canada, and a senior scientist for the Army Corps of Engineers, to name a few.
