Post-doctoral positions in NSERC Visiting Fellowships in Canadian Government Laboratories Program

Posted by CRI Programs   |   October 19, 2016

Dr. Patricia Chambers, Senior Scientist, Water Science & Technology at Environment & Climate Change Canada, and a CRI Associate, will be looking to staff 1 or 2 post-doctoral positions through the NSERC Visiting Fellowships (VF) in Canadian Government Laboratories Program.  The research would focus on sources, fate and impacts of nutrients in Manitoba or southern Ontario streams, including the influence of land use activities and climate change.

The NSERC VF program has 2 steps:  first, recent PhD graduates (<5 years post-graduation) must apply to the program and if deemed meritorious, are placed on a pre-selection list.  Second, federal scientists wishing to offer a NSERC VF then chose the appropriate candidate from the pre-selection list.

Recent PhD graduates (or soon to be graduates) are encouraged to apply to the program.
